MaOhJo School Children
In early January a team from The Well Community Church in Fresno, CA made the long journey to serve along side the hill tribe people. Projects included painting the school, digging out a road, building a green house, building a reservoir to collect rain during the rainy seasons, seeing a few patients at the clinic, and Vacation Bible School with the school children. Along with regular village life, the team was invited to a baptism and a wedding! The team also had regular time with the staff in the village including the agriculture staff and the teachers and youth hostel parents. What a rich experience to share and worship with the staff each evening. Several team members have been coming to this area for many years and have enjoyed seeing what child/community sponsorship can accomplish to make a difference in the lives of the hill tribe people!
